Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire

Hours: Opportunities on 2nd or 3rd Shift

Pay: $30-35/hour based on experience

Essential tasks for this Maintenance Technician include:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures; ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose, repair and/or replace defective equipment parts, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary; using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment
  • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
  • Inspect parts, machinery, equipment, and electrical systems
  • Facilities maintenance to include roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures
  • Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms.

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician with the following background profile/skills:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent is required; relevant vocational training and electrician's license preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Must have strong mechanical skills, and knowledge of/experience with basic hand tools and light power tools
  • Capability to program drives and PLC's
  • Functional knowledge of electrical codes
