Our Interview Process:

At Palmetto Renovations of Columbia, Inc. we believe in finding the best talent and ensuring they're the right fit for our team. Our comprehensive interview process is designed to not only evaluate your skills and experience but also give you a taste of what it's like to work with us. Here's a breakdown of our process:

1. Initial Phone Screening: We start with a casual conversation to discuss the basic details of the position and to introduce you to our company culture. During this call, we'll also explain our interview process and answer any questions you may have.

2. In-Person Interview with HR Manager: You'll have the opportunity to meet with our HR Manager to further discuss the position, your qualifications, and how you align with our company values.

3. Background Check and Drug Test: To ensure the safety and security of our team and clients, we conduct a thorough background check and drug test as part of our hiring process.

4. Working Interview

 

 

Position Overview: The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in plumbing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering superior craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of our team.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing requirements
  • Perform inspections and assessments of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Troubleshoot plumbing problems and perform repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate plumbing work on construction projects
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects
  • Mentor and train apprentice plumbers as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Valid journeyman or masters plumber license or equivalent certification if applicable
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plumber
  • Thorough understanding of plumbing systems and components
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
