JOB SUMMARYThe Cardiac Catheterization Tech performs diagnostic invasive procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Scrubs and assists Cardiologist as requested. Responds to patient distress situations and assists with equipment quality control and inventory management.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Two (2) year degree in Radiologic Technology.Experience: Two (2) years experience in Special Procedure and/or Cath Lab experience.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network. OREducation: Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program OR equivalent work experience. Experience: None required if a CV Tech graduate OR at least two (2) years recent CV Tech experience if not a Cardiovascular Tech program graduate.Licensure/Certification/Registration: RCIS Certification required BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network. ACLS required.

Shift: Full-time days, 8 hour shifts, with off-premise call after hours / weekends / Holidays
