Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Irving, TX. Tampa, FL, NJ

Position Overview:

We are looking for highly skilled Java Engineers with a strong background in Java programming, J2EE, Kafka, and related technologies. As a Java Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development and a proven track record of delivering quality code in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services that meet business requirements and performance goals.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical meetings to ensure code quality and alignment with architectural standards.
    • Troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement timely solutions to resolve technical challenges.
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Java and related technologies, and apply them to improve existing systems and processes.
    • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Java Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
    • Strong coding experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with Kafka and related messaging systems.
    • Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
    • Proficiency in building scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
