21st Century Rehab, PC is a therapist owned company that specializes in physical, occupational, and speech therapy.  We currently serve 14 communities in Central Iowa.  We provide services to home health agencies, hospitals, long-term care facilities and outpatient clinics.  We are dedicated to providing excellent patient care.  Our ideology is to create an employee that is happy, healthy, content, challenged and loves what they do and feels properly rewarded so that they always put their best foot forward.

Occupational Therapist

SETTING:


Outpatient and Inpatient in a hospital setting


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and tests to determine physical therapy treatment plan.
  • Determines appropriate discharge management and follow-up.
  • Participates in supervisory relationships; maintains a high standard of professional accountability with respect to safety, efficiency, effectiveness, ethics and legal issues.
  • Daily paperwork
  • Demonstrates appropriate and effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication with patients and their families, medical staff, colleagues and the public; participates effectively as a team member in discharge planning and patient care conferences.


Qualifications


  • A graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with an OT license in Iowa (new grads are welcome to apply)
  • Lymphedema certified or willing to get certified
  • Valid driver's license
