Summary:

Since 1997, AlphaStaff has delivered HR outsourcing solutions to thousands of small and medium-sized businesses across the country, as well as some large organizations. We are searching for a detail-oriented Sr. Interior Designer for one of our top clients in Georgia, a design and remodeling company in business since 1999.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to determine remodeling and design needs and scope of work
  • Conduct detailed as-built measure of existing floorplans and layouts
  • Create design plans based on building codes and design standards in order to meet the client’s needs using CAD
  • Prepare design plans to present to client
  • Meet with clients to present design plans and get final design approval
  • Provide detail for construction document creation
  • Meet with clients to make material selections for remodeling projects
  • Order materials, as needed: including cabinet hardware, barn doors, or other specialty items
  • Conduct cost analysis of selections (original allowances vs. final selections) and provide info to client or Project Manager for change orders
  • Check on job sites during construction
  • Work with other subs and vendors as well as internal team
  • Meeting with installers/assisting with layouts and finish meetings
  • Communicate selections to subs/suppliers for new projects
  • Schedule and stage for professional pictures at completion of a project (staging minimal/not decorator focused)
  • Create photo boards of finished projects
  • Assist with generating social media content; progress pictures, videos, flat lays, etc.
  • Research and generate new blog post ideas for TTDR website
  • Organize and maintain showroom and office, as needed
  • Study and keep up with design trends, new products
  • Kitchen and Bath Design certification through NKBA
  • Ongoing Chief Architect training
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field or relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in CAD software and building codes
  • Chief Architect preferred
  • Adobe Photoshop a plus
  • An eye for design and color, but position is not interior decorator focused
  • Basic math skills required with proficiency in measuring, percentages, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
  • Architectural / construction interior design experience required

Salary: $55-60K Annually
