Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

· Apply lean manufacturing philosophes

· Supervise production operations to achieve higher output

· Identify areas of improvement and organize training opportunities for the production team

· Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires

· Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards

· Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals

· Evaluate various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency

· Maintain communication between employees and senior management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood

· Ensure the flow of raw materials and other resources

· Motivate and support multi-talented production team

· Leads the Daily Run the Business,(DRB) Stand-Up Meetings

· Responsible for ensuring proper shift change activities occur daily

· Compiles data and reports daily status to leadership

· Is an independent thinker who is able to provide Solutions to resolve issues

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

· Help identify unsafe conditions and remove safety hazards

· Help foster a safety culture for the entire facility

· Understanding of ISO-9001, OSHA, Lean Manufacturing, 5-S, and process trouble shooting a plus

· Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word

· Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment

· Working knowledge of ERP system

· Excellent organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills

· Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic

· Ability to create and adhere to production processes

· Ability to write reports legibly and accurately

· Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping

· Must be able to work in changing climatic conditions (cold environment in Winter months and hot is Summer months)

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

· Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produce
