YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our residential properties. You'll start your day by reviewing maintenance requests from residents and property management. As a hands-on problem solver, you'll tackle various repairs, from plumbing and electrical issues to painting and drywall repairs. Your attention to detail shines as you complete apartment turnovers, ensuring units are refreshed and move-in ready. Throughout the day, you'll interact with residents, providing top-notch customer service and addressing maintenance concerns promptly. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

  • 2 years of experience as a residential maintenance technician
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and drywall installation and repairs
  • Physical ability to use a vacuum cleaner and other janitorial equipment, handle chemicals, and lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to provide own tools
  • Basic computer, phone, and other technology skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance with reliable transportation

A Multi-Family NW Association Maintenance Technician certification or similar is preferred but not required. Having flooring installation and repair experience is also preferred. Being bilingual in both Spanish and English is a plus

SCHEDULE

Full-timers work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday with flexibility for customer needs and on-call emergency services. The part-time schedule ranges from 10 to 25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, ideal for skilled technicians seeking supplemental income with customized scheduling.
