As the Maintenance Technician, you will provide building and equipment maintenance for all office and shop facilities under direction of the Plant Manager.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC systems in all buildings, under the direction of contractors or plant manager. Maintains tracking mechanism to show requirements and completion dates.
  • Manages company vehicle maintenance program. Maintains spreadsheet listing all company vehicles and their maintenance requirements. May perform maintenance tasks or coordinate with outside service. Includes completion dates.
  • Performs minor electrical repairs as required. This includes but is not limited to: outlet replacement, fluorescent bulb replacement and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Performs minor plumbing repairs as required. This includes but not limited to: clearing clogs, sealing leaks and troubleshooting plumbing issues.
  • Serves as main contact for alarm systems, cranes, recycling efforts and waste removal.
  • Monitors and manages electrical usage involving air conditioning units
  • Performs general building maintenance which involves painting, caulking and other tasks.
  • May coordinate site metal recycling pickup.
  • May clear snow from entrance door areas as required.
  • May perform landscaping duties. This includes but not limited to: replacing mulch, planting flowers, removing weeds.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Your Profile:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two years’ experience in commercial maintenance including responsibility for electrical, plumbing and HVAC or equivalent combination of education and experience.
