Responsibilities of our Design Engineer:
- Assist in the overall design and technical effort needed to support the sale, engineering and production of precast concrete products
- Perform design calculations
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings
- Interact regularly with contractors, consulting engineers and/or government entities to develop and get approvals for manufacturing drawings
Qualifications of our Design Engineer:
- BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
- 3-7 years experience in a field related to structural engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or other CAD platforms
- Construction experience preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as daily interaction with engineers, contractors and public agencies is required
