Job Summary: 

Planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's technology infrastructure and systems. IT professionals play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing technology resources to meet the needs of the organization and its stakeholders and optimizing technology resources to support business operations, enhance productivity, and drive innovation. They contribute to areas such as technical support, system administration, networking, database management, software development, and project management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Software design, development, unit test, release, and support platform lifecycle.
  • Implements web/ API designs that are user centric, responsive, and fit for purpose.
  • Develops and implements new services/applications that meet quality standards and performance.
  • Works collaboratively/cooperatively with a team.
  • Follows established software development and deployment processes.
  • Reviews work of other developers and audits software processes.
  • Assesses, finds, and fixes functional and performance issues.
  • Participates in development efforts in an Agile development environment, daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and sprint demos.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of software design and build experience across the full stack of software layers, new feature design and development,
  • Experience with Java (J2EE), Spring, JUnit, Tomcat, SQL, Eclipse, Angular, Android, or iOS.
  • Exposure to API/Web Services/ Microservices development
  • Exposure to Agile, TDD-based project execution utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence
  • Exposure to Microservices/ Cloud Native is a plus

Work locations of each position will be determined during the hiring process. Each work location will depend on business needs and the essential functions of the position.
