Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort allows you the amazing opportunity to enjoy the Florida sunshine, cool breezes, and spectacular oceanfront views in world-famous Cocoa Beach, while assisting guests who arrive to enjoy our spacious suites, along with easy access to white-sand beaches and area attractions such as the Cocoa Beach Pier and Port Canaveral. As a member of the cocoa beach team, you will help provide guests an unforgettable vacation getaway at our friendly tropical beachfront resort.

Job Description

We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

  • Consistently meet quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of all assigned rooms
  • Achieve a productivity goal of 12 credits per day, with credits assigned based on the size and type of service required
  • Deliver our guest rooms free of critical defects by maintaining a unit inspection score of 90% or above, adhering to the resort's established guidelines
  • Perform room cleaning tasks, including stripping units, removing all trash, and cleaning various areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks
  • Utilize equipment and supplies responsibly, following established procedures to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Immediately report any Lost & Found items, adhering to established protocols to assist in guest satisfaction
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and be willing to assist with other duties as necessary to support the team
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned, contributing to the overall success and excellence of our housekeeping operations

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
