Cnc Machinist

Alliance Laser, Inc. in Slidell, LA is looking for one cnc machinist - lathe or mill operator to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 60207 Camp Villere Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.  You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Identify and load correct tooling into machine
• Safely operate lathe with Fanuc controls
• Produce quality parts to print in a timely manner
• Check that each part matches the blueprint
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion

Qualifications

• Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
• Familiarity with tools and equipment including micrometers and calipers
• Ability to identify material types
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $18.00 - $28.00/hour.
