We are looking for a motivated Resin Prep on 1st shift to help monitor inventory and prepare urethane material to be used throughout the Urethane Plant. This fast-paced position will provide front end support to our production process and will be a key contributor to our manufacturing process. No experience – no problem Our team is willing to train those with limited experience, as long as you have a great attitude and dedication towards the work.
Hours: 3:00am - 11:00am Monday - Friday
Primary Job Duties:
The Urethane Prep position will ensure urethane material is prepared and available for production schedules on a daily basis. Responsible for mixing materials (resins, curatives, pigments, etc) by weighing and measuring specific amounts in accordance with formulas and established guidelines.
- Interpret formula sheets and accurately measuring and dosing resin and material additives into properly sized buckets.
- Ensuring molders have material ready and heated for every job on the production schedule.
- Monitor material inventory and alerting production scheduler when inventory levels are low.
- Keeping the work area very clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately use measurement tools and equipment is necessary
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills required
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Be Reliable - will be responsible for preparing urethane for start of 1st shift.
