Under the direction of the Plant Manager this position processes parts by bending, drilling, using the punch press, and manual saw. Level I is defined by the ability or consistent use of one machine.

Responsibilities of All Levels
•Examine completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces. Sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
•Inspect all parts to ensure adherence to build book specifications
•Set- up, operate or tend machines to bend, drill punch crimp, notch or straighten metal
•Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
•Regular and reliable attendance
•Keep area clean and organized
•Follow safety procedures and instructions
•Maintain productivity throughout shift
•Meet production expectations set by team lead/plant manager
•Work quickly and accurately with minimal mistakes
•Other duties as assigned
•Complete regular daily/ preventative maintenance including:
Clean and lubricate machines
