Company: LeMaitre Vascular, pronounced La Mate

Publicly traded (LMAT) company headquartered in Boston MA.They are a very niche specific company that specializes in the Peripheral Vascular (veins and arteries outside of the heart) space.Their products are not me too and have traditionally sold off contract to hospitals but that is actually changing a bit.Strong stability w/ upper management, the VP of Sales has been w/ the company for 19 yrs.

Urgency: ASAP

Products:Valvulotome (vein cutting), Anestoclip (vessel closure) Artegraft, Xenosure and RestorFlow (Biologic patches, implantables)

Call Points: Vascular Surgeons, Cardiothoracic, select General Surgeons and some Neuro and Spine surgeons promoting the biologics line.These are called Open Vascular procedures not to be confused w/ EndoVascular.These are tried and tested surgeries for patients with PAD (peripheral vascular disease), etc.

Base salary: $75,000 + 6 month guarantee of being 100% to plan as a ramp up.

Total $$ at plan: 148K year 1

Car Allowance: $600 a mo.

Benefits/expenses: Full benefits, expenses, 401K,

Specific types of Candidate backgrounds: LeMaitre likes to hire sales reps with backgrounds coming from medical, dental, B2B, and even light pharma.They are very particular about too many jobs (lack of stability) and candidate MUST have sales documentation of past accomplishments

Type of selling: Consultative, ROI, Referral: This is selling into the OR, so scrubbing up for procedures as well as hunting for new leads/accounts

Competition: LeMaitre is pretty niche specific so there isnt a lot of direct competition per se, but Cook, and Edward, and Cryolife do have biologics

Interview process: 1stinterview is a phone interview, 2ndis an in person w/ the RSM and they generally will want you to have called a couple members on the team.3rd-depending is a field visit.4this a video call with 2 RSMs, 1 Sr. Rep, and the VP of Sales.

Training class: Depends on time of year.
