The Buyer Analyst's Responsibilities:
- Work safely and courteously, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Execute day-to-day purchasing tasks, including order placement, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services to meet organizational needs.
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
- Lead initiatives to implement changes aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall procurement processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence reports to provide insights into materials trends, vendor and manufacturing performance, and other key performance indicators.
- Work closely with management to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze procurement data and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
- Maintain and update master data related to suppliers, materials, and pricing.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of master data, supporting overall data integrity within procurement systems.
- Analyze supplier contracts and terms to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Implement strategies to achieve cost reductions without compromising quality or service levels.
- Thoroughly review supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Collaborate with finance and accounts payable teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.

The Buyer Analyst will need:
Required -
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SQL.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred -
- 3+ years of experience in a buyer or business analyst role.
- Experience using procurement software or ERP systems.
- Related experience within the manufacturing industry.
