Are you looking for a team that cares about you?

As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role within our multidisciplinary engineering team, contributing to the success of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for programming CNC machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and potentially robotics, to ensure the precise production of components according to specifications. You will work closely with our manufacturing personnel, utilizing your expertise in CAD/CAM and G-code to optimize operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Interpret tooling packages to determine ideal speeds and feeds for CNC machining processes.
  • Work proficiently in CAM environments to generate CNC programs.
  • Read and verify G-codes against engineering prints to ensure accuracy.
  • Make necessary adjustments to 3D models of the workpiece to meet design specifications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs for efficiency and quality.
  • May be involved in robotic programming tasks if applicable.

Job Requirements

  • Mid-level experience as a CNC Programmer, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing G-code for CNC programming.
  • Proven experience in CAD/CAM environments, with the ability to generate and modify CNC programs.
  • Familiarity with CNC lathes and CNC milling machine programming.
  • Experience with NX software is a plus.
  • Robotic programming experience is an additional advantage.
  • Knowledge of common turning lathes and milling operations.
  • Tool and Die machine shop experience is a plus.
  • Working towards or having received a degree from a Technical Training school is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously to ensure precision.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with manufacturing personnel and engineering teams.

Pay: The hourly range is between $35-42/hr based on your education, skills, and experience.
