Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Character Artist with expertise in Unreal Engine to join our creative team on a long-term contract basis. As a Character Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and memorable characters within the Unreal Engine environment, contributing to the overall success of our upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Character Creation: Utilize your artistic skills and expertise in Unreal Engine to create compelling and visually captivating characters that align with the game's artistic direction and narrative requirements.
  2. Unreal Engine Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Unreal Engine to optimize character assets and ensure they are fully compatible with the engine's capabilities, resulting in high-quality and realistic character models.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with concept artists, animators, and other team members to ensure seamless character integration into the Unreal Engine environment, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  4. Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all character assets created within Unreal Engine, ensuring they meet the established artistic and technical standards.
  5. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in character art techniques and Unreal Engine technology, contributing innovative ideas to enhance the visual impact of our games.
  6. Long-Term Commitment: This is a long-term contract position, and we are looking for a dedicated artist who is passionate about creating exceptional character art and is committed to contributing to the success of our projects.

Requirements

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Character Artist in the gaming industry, with a strong focus on creating characters within Unreal Engine.
  2. Unreal Engine Proficiency: Expertise in Unreal Engine's character creation tools and rendering capabilities. Familiarity with the engine's materials and lighting is essential.
  3. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional character art created within the Unreal Engine environment. Your portfolio should demonstrate your ability to create diverse and visually appealing characters.
  4. Passion: A genuine passion for video games, character design, and storytelling. You should have a keen eye for detail and a desire to create memorable characters that resonate with players.
  5. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey ideas and feedback.
