The Role
Gorilla Commerce is seeking a passionate intern for the Merchandise Planning team who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Flexibility, organization, and attention to detail in a constantly changing and highly ambiguous business environment are crucial skills. As an intern, you will develop strategic financial plans and projects that drive sustainable growth and profitability for assigned categories. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic setting, capable of balancing various responsibilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Forecasting and Planning: Adjust forecasts based on market conditions and sales performance.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with team members on various projects, ensuring alignment and timely completion of tasks.
  •  Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct research on the velocity of sales, seasonality curves, and SKU selling performance.
    • Utilize 3rd party tools to gather and analyze relevant data.
  • Project Coordination: Support the creation of documentation on new processes.
Skills & Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Planning, financial analysis, and/or merchandising experience a plus
  • Amazon and Walmart Marketplace experience a plus
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Love to roll up sleeves and do all aspects of the work
  • Relentless attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines
