Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Duluth, Minnesota that produces composite "fiberglass" parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. We are looking for experienced Manufacturing / Production Technicians who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment


Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for fabrication of machined piece parts and tooling, prototypes, molds and tooling - fixtures.
  • Machine parts from models, blueprints, drawings, and verbal directions.
  • Operating conversational milling machines. Set up, operating and editing of Vertical / Horizontals Machining Centers. Haas machine experience is preferred.
  • Mazak CNC lathe positions are needed. Set up and operate. CNC lathe live tooling experience is a plus.
  • Filling out work instructions properly.
  • Understand the planning flow and be able to adjust and explain planning procedures.
  • Ensures that all assigned work areas are kept clean, orderly, and safe always.
  • Ability to work with in a team environment.
  • CNC Programming is not a requirement of either CNC Vertical or Horizontal Milling or CNC Lathe - Machinist positions.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two-year Machine Tool technical school and three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High degree of mathematical aptitude necessary. Ability to calculate figures, measurements, proportions, angles in relation to drawings and blueprints. Ability to apply basic concepts of trigonometry and geometry.
