Lake Ridge Care Center, a 5-star, 56-bed facility, is currently seeking a temporary Cook/Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents.  If you have a passion for cooking and  enjoy working in a team environment, this temporary position is a great opportunity to make a difference in our residents' lives.  This is a temporary 12 week with the potential to work into a permanent position.  We are offering $500 monthly bonus upon completion of scheduled hours.  

This is a Temporary position working a varied schedule.

Hours:  6:00 am t0 2:30 pm

What does a Cook/Dietary do?

  • Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Prepare and assist cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
  • Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
  • Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
  • Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
What does a Cook/ Dietary Aide require?
  • Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred, but not required. We'll train you
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills.
