Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionSocial Media Management:
  • Content Creation and Posting:
    • Develop and design posts and reels for Gearsupply’s social media platforms.
    • Collaborate with the warehouse, marketing team, and key stakeholders to determine content that will generate viable leads.
    • Schedule and manage posts using Hubspot or Instagram directly.
    • Maintain a posting schedule:
      • LinkedIn: 2-3+ posts per week
      • Instagram: 5-7 posts/reels per week, including stories and engagement
      • Facebook: 4-6 posts per week
    • Post relevant content in specific Facebook groups (Everything Used AV & Everything Used AV Europe).
  • Community Management:
    • Monitor and maintain the Instagram inbox, forwarding pertinent information to the sales team.
    • Update Instagram highlights, LinkedIn headers, and profile photos.
    • Prospect potential new clients on social media.
    • Increase following and engagement across all social media platforms.
  • Other Social Media Channels:
    • Manage other social media channels as needed (refer to Emmy for Startup Grind).
    • Purchase video equipment as required.

Design and Marketing:
  • Asset Management:
    • Maintain and update the marketing asset database.
    • Create and maintain a brand kit and updated media kits.
    • Manage the inventory of all branding elements (colors, fonts, logos).
  • Design Tasks:
    • Design various company materials including email signatures, business cards, promo materials, and trade show designs.
    • Develop new company logos as needed (examples: Gearguru, Gearpromise, Gearsupply Direct).
    • Design and manage company merchandise (T-shirts, hats).
  • Email Marketing:
    • Create and send bi-weekly Gearblast emails.
    • Develop product recommendation emails.
  • Video/Photo Production:
    • Photograph company events, outings, and new employees.
    • Produce video testimonials for the careers page.
    • Create training videos and event videos.
    • Capture photos and videos for Startup Grind


QualificationsRequirements:
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong written communication and long-form content skills
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:
  • Experience in the AV industry or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot and social media scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
