Position Overview: The Pricing and Competitive Intelligence Manager plays a vital role in contributing to Mercury Broadband’s growth by not only bringing clarity to our products’ competitive standing but also driving their success by designing pricing strategies and offers that resonate with our target markets. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure our products and services are competitively positioned to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Management:
  1. Design and execute pricing strategies and programs that reflect target market conditions, enhance profitability, and support business objectives.
  2. Analyze pricing performance and leverage data-driven insights to make pricing decisions.
  3. Develop and maintain pricing models, ensuring they reflect the value of our products and services and align with Mercury’s financial goals, market positioning, and sales tactics.
  4. Manage and communicate pricing across all customer touchpoints.
  • Competitive Intelligence:
  1. Conduct and manage competitive product and pricing research to inform product and pricing strategies and decisions.
  2. Leverage internal and external resources to collect, evaluate, and respond to competitive dynamics, threats, and opportunities.
  3. Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to develop competitive insights that contribute to product, pricing, marketing, and sales success.
  4. Communicate competitive updates to Mercury’s sales and marketing teams to help drive sales success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, pricing, competitive intelligence, or related role, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Adept at data analysis, including using standard techniques and tools to manipulate and organize data to provide insight to decision-making.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and analytic skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office software packages to package and present.
