Salad Maker

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented kitchen professional to join our team at Old City Prime in downtown Lima, OH. This is a full-time position, Tuesday- Saturday. Salad Makers prepare fresh, ready-to-eat foods, and other made-from-scratch menu items in a fine-dining, fast-paced kitchen. Preference will be given to candidates with knife skills, pastry and baking experience, and/or a general culinary background.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized salads and other made-from-scratch menu items
• Ensure only quality finished products are served to our guests
• Salad Makers adhere to recipes and food manual guidelines
• Accurately produce finished items based on order modifications
• Responsible for prepping, stocking, and cleaning kitchen workspace
• Follow proper plating and garnishing guidelines for each unique menu item
• Use proper portioning utensils and follow recipes
• Work cooperatively with other kitchen team members, servers, and management
• Assist in other areas of the kitchen on an as needed basis
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 Years old to apply  
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks safely and efficiently
• Ability to lead and take direction
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and stand and walk for extended periods
• Working knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations  
• Team-oriented attitude
