Purpose:  

This position is responsible for the operation of equipment used to grind meat for the purpose of Kibble production. Determining ingredients needed for batches and informing line staff. Leading by example in all areas of Safety, Quality and Performance is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the meat room 

  • Train staff on proper meat room workflow and sanitation procedures 

  • Enter batch information into Plex Software and manage inventory on a daily basis to ensure product is in stock and accurately counted 

  • Mix ingredients together and grind blocks of meat into meat grinder 

  • Add oils as needed per customer specifications 

  • Unload frozen meat pallets into freezer for storage using forklift 

  • Clean meat room equipment at throughout the day and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards 

  • Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner 


Physical qualifications:

  • Willing and able to lift up to 60lbs 

  • Stand for long periods of time 

  • Ability to bend, stoop and reach

Hours: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm 

Compensation: $21.50 per hour
