Dietary Aide/Cook

Windom Area Health in Windom, MN is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide/Cook to join our team. As a vital member of our food services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, appetizing meals during their stay with us.

Position: Dietary Aide/Cook

FTE: .6

Pay range: $16.58 - $21.55

Location: Windom, MN

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and portion sizes
• Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide exceptional customer service to patients
• Adhere to all dietary restrictions and special requests
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

Windom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, hematology/oncology, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day.
