Breakfast Server

6:30 am - 10:30 am
6:30 am - 2:30 pm
Position Title: A la Carte Server - Breakfast
Position Reports to: Dining Operations Manager
Employee Categories: Full Time Year-Round; Benefit Eligible OR Part Time Year-Round
FLSA Category: Non-Exempt; Hourly Position
Hourly Rate: up to $30/hour depending on experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete the set up, cleanup, and re- stocking of all areas pertaining to a la carte
- Be willing and able to communicate courteously and politely with members daily
- Provide service and enhanced dining experience by following proper service procedures and by exceeding member expectations
- Proper serving and clearing of food and beverages
- Knowledge of our menu and being able to answer questions about ingredients or cooking techniques
- Knowledge of our house wine selections, including the grape and region; vintage is a bonus
- Ability to present and pour a bottle of wine or champagne
- Attend menu tasting which occurs every 6 weeks
- Attend additional training classes as announced, i.e. wine training, and banquet training
- Knowledge of and efficient use of the POS system
- Serve with banquet staff at occasional large functions or weddings
- Maintain a professional demeanor, work harmoniously with others, and strive to excel.
- Additional duties/ projects as assigned by management
Other Requirements:
- Previous serving experience required; minimum 1 year
- Exposure to a private club environment or high-end experience is preferred
- Excellent Food and Beverage knowledge
- Must be able to bend and reach for items off shelf, carry trays, lift up to 30lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours
- Use touch screen for POS system
- Basic reading and writing skills; ability to speak English conversationally
- Willing to get required TIPs Certification
