Clarifi Staffing Solutions is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Special Education Teacher to join our team and serve school districts across Illinois. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality special education services to bilingual students with diverse needs. As a Bilingual Special Education Teacher, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for bilingual students with special needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings, including inclusive classrooms, resource rooms, and self-contained classrooms.
  • Utilize bilingual skills to conduct assessments, deliver instruction, and communicate effectively with students and families.
  • Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments and support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other meetings as required, providing clear and effective communication in both English and Spanish.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school district policies and special education regulations.
  • Provide training and support to school staff and families on strategies for supporting bilingual students with special needs.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Illinois teaching license with LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a bilingual or multicultural setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in special education and bilingual education.
