Short Project Description
Edge Computing Infrastructure Program (ECIP) Project - Kubernetes Engineering Support for USPS ECIP program
• Manage Kubernetes cluster(s) for USPS related to their deep-learning AI projects (ECIP).
Work with USPS team to develop the customization documentation
• Act as technical point of contact for service support
• Primary work location will be the USPS Engineering Location in Merrifield, VA
• Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system

Plant Wide Analytics Processor (PWAP) Kubernetes Consulting
Design and manage Kubernetes cluster(s) related to ECIP project.
Technical Consulting services to support USPS Plant Wide Analytics Processor (PWAP). Since the PWAP deployment involves extensive technical solution and coordination among various HPE business groups and USPS engineering groups, the technical resource will manage the technical aspect of PWAP program until all the deployments are completed and transition the work to the on-going Support Program Manager (SPM). The supplier consultant will participate in weekly telecoms to discuss installation status, identify planned shipments for the duration of the delivery schedule, and discuss potential delivery / deployment issues. The technical consultant will be the liaison between the various teams involved from CUSTOMER and HPE.
• Engineering Support for USPS Plant Wide Analytics Processor (PWAP) program for 6 months. Extensions probable.
• Work with CUSTOMER'S team to define the deployment configuration and parameter.
• Work with CUSTOMER'S team to develop the factory customization documentation.
• Work with CUSTOMER and HPE teams to develop the Installation Guide for the field engineers to use during the system installation.
• Define and develop imaging mechanism and document the process for replicating the image to the systems at HPE factory.
• Work with CUSTOMER and HPE teams to develop deployment checklist and test plans to validate the image and the system when deployed.
• Work with CUSTOMER'S Program Manager to develop the project plan with milestones, schedule and deliverables.
• Work with HPE factory to train them on image deployment process.
• Work with the Postal and HPE team to deploy the systems at the beta sites and update the documentation and imaging process with the beta site deployment findings.
• Coordinate the shipments of Plant Wide Analytics Processor (PWAP) systems per the delivery schedule.
• Coordinate the installation activities among multiple HPE business units and USPS engineering groups per the installation schedule.
• Act as technical point of contact for service support throughout deployment and installation.
• Provide weekly status reports on the progress of the deployment and installation phase.
