SUMMARY: Assists in coordination of all functions for the Marketing Division. Oversees the overall operations of the Promotions Assistants to ensure that all activities are performed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with all Casino policies, procedures and controls. Assists in the advertising and marketing of new marketing and advertising strategies to increase gross revenue, while making maximum utilization of established budget. Empowered to assist in make decisions regarding Marketing and Special Events of the Casino.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assists the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing in overseeing the daily operations and administrative responsibilities of the department, as well as the job responsibilities of the Promotions Assistant team members.
  • Full understanding of Gold Experience Club procedures, departmental policies, operations and adhere to system of Internal Controls.
  • Maintain accuracy of the company website in a timely fashion.
  • Assists in developing ideas for marketing and advertising strategies to increase gross revenue and increase customer base.
  • Assists in creating and implementing Marketing and Promotional procedures, departmental policies and adheres to system of Internal Controls.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of designs, produces, and assists in managing Casino web page and Social Media.
  • Helps Player Development team periodically with VIP special events and other tasks.
  • Ensures the proper usage of the company logo and ensuring that the property positioning is accurate for all marketing activity.
  • Ensures that copy and language for all casino media is accurate and correct.
  • Assists in the creation and implementation of various artworks across digital mediums both online and on-property to ensure consistent branding and a high standard of quality.
  • Represent Casino at different public and social events.
  • Oversee and assist in running weekly tournaments and promotions as needed.
  • Responsible for performing periodic Audits on users of the Super Playmate Player tracking system.
  • Oversees the completion of appropriate paperwork to retrieve cash from vault to make payouts to customers for promotions, as need.
  • Submit POs in a timely fashion.
  • Tracks inventories and expenses. Maintains record keeping for each event.
  • Maintains adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, administrating time, and attendance program, evaluating, assisting with career development, promoting, disciplining and recommending for termination.
  • Ensures the integrity of all Marketing & Promotions activities are in accordance with the Casino’s policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ordering and tracking all required Marketing supplies.
  • Responsible for adjustments to Gold Experience Club Card member’s account if there is a problem or dispute.
  • Responsible for informing and training personnel on up-coming events and promotions.
  • Assists in monitoring all activities, which relate to the Marketing Division to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the Casino, the federal Commissions, and the Gaming Commission are enforced.
  • Submits recommendations for special events and marketing programs.
  • Assists in facilitating the flow of information, by organizing and presiding over scheduled meetings with all department heads as needed.
  • Participates in administering Casino policies and developing and recommending long-range goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the review of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data, to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, team members and vendors.
  • Responsible for compliance with the Casino’s internal control policy and procedures as it relates to the position’s stated job description.
  • Be accountable for and fully utilize, our guest experience program, with each guest interaction.
