We are seeking an experienced Tier III IT Engineer to join a large scale digital transformation effort in support of a Federal agency. In this role you will manage and support issue resolution, cybersercurity provisioning, and customer support for Azure, O365, and other Windows applications, services, and workstations using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune, PowerShell, and other app packaging tools and capabilities. The customer you will be serving is a Federal agency located in downtown Washington D.C.

 

This role interacts directly with users and requires excellent customer service skills and service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have excellent working knowledge of PowerShell and Intune
  • Manage and maintain workstations and mobile devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Scripting using PowerShell
  • Package applications for deployment using PowerShell deployment toolkit
  • Provide technical support to end-users
  • Expertise with endpoint Group Policies and GPOs
  • Conduct system upgrades and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues and users
  • Guide/mentor junior engineers

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience or certifications
  • Experience: Three (5) years+ of experience in desktop management
  • Experience in Azure configuration, troubleshooting, and support
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and app packaging
  • Experience with pushing Group Policies and ADMX templates
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems (Win10+) and Office 365
  • Providing Tier 1 through Tier 3+ technical support to users
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Due to the nature of the work (US Federal Govt), only US Citizens are eligible
  • Successful background investigation is required

  • Ability to define root causes and assess impacts

  • Ability to identify and assess threats to infrastructure, services, and applications and recommend mitigations and remediations
