Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to bolster our client's manufacturing division. The perfect fit will excel at dissecting and presenting cost data pertinent to their production processes, ensuring precision and efficacy in cost monitoring and evaluation. Notably, candidates MUST boast a track record of implementing ERP Systems and possess robust expertise in this domain to be considered.

Location: Onsite in Spring Hill, FL

Compensation: $125k-$145k

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field mandatory; Master's degree and/or CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing context
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and core cost accounting principles
  • Proficiency in cost accounting software and ERP systems
  • Outstanding analytical prowess and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP implementations

Responsibilities:

  • Scrutinize manufacturing costs and variances to ensure precise reporting
  • Craft and uphold cost standards for both materials and labor
  • Draft cost forecasts and budgets for our manufacturing endeavors
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to furnish financial analysis and backing
  • Regularly audit cost data to pinpoint discrepancies and areas ripe for enhancement
  • Furnish management with actionable insights and recommendations derived from cost analysis
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and optimal practices in manufacturing cost accounting
