Basic Function

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to forecast revenues, costs and expenditures and advise us on future budgeting.

For this role, familiarity with management, financial reporting procedures, and forecasting models is essential. You will closely work with senior finance manager to support company-wide financial activities, investigate cost saving opportunities, and facilitate data-driven decision making.

In the end, you will make sure that our financial planning is sound, successful, and in line with our company's goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop/improve financial models using process analysis and benchmarking.
  2. Analyze and report on current financial status on a monthly or ad hoc basis, include but not limited to revenue, expenses, costing, and other business-related items.
  3. Play a key role in annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  4. Assist the executive team with long-term financial planning.
  5. Prepare cost projections.
  6. Examine and document existing financial situation.
  7. Investigate historical financial and Budget versus Actual data to identify risks and opportunities.
  8. Communicate with department personnel to establish explanations, analyses, and projections.
  9. Collaborate with cross functional teams, advise, and support on financial concerns related to their projects.
  10. Run and/or prepare ad-hoc reports.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business administration required.

Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, financial planning, and financial modeling.
  • High proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in tire industry, with marketing programs and pricing analysis experience preferred.
  • Possess the ability to locate data from various sources, organize data, analyze data, and draw solid conclusions.
  • Data Query such as Oracle ERP R12, ESS base, Discoverer experience a plus.
