Job Description

About the role:

This is a hybrid role. Mandatory 2x per month in the Perrysburg, OH office occurring on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Infrequent and scheduled additional office days may be required as specified by role manager (training days etc.)

This position is accountable for supporting the procurement of raw materials (including sourcing, contract management, cost savings, etc.) to ensure best practice and best total cost of ownership for North America.  This role will support the procurement of raw materials and cullet totaling ~$300M for the 18 plants in North America.

Also, you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing activities.
  • Support Procurement Manager(s) with RFI / RFP / RFQ activities for new and existing requirements and provide bid analysis (quotations, spend, cost, payment terms/methods, etc.)
  • Support the development and execution of strategic sourcing activities for raw materials and cullet, leveraging industry best practices, commodity experience, sourcing methodology and global partnerships whenever possible.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts in compliance with legal standards and business requirements.
  • Review vendor performance to ensure contract adherence and drive continuous improvements.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement commodity initiatives / projects to drive savings.
  • Participate in and / or lead special projects as required.
