Position Description

The Web Development Manager role plays a pivotal role on the professional services team supporting our Web Development practice in collaboration with our UX/creative, content, and demand generation team leaders.

The Web Development team is responsible for building and evolving a variety of our web applications to support marketing and sales objectives. The Web Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality user interfaces and exceptional user experiences across our ClubCar.com platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams along with system administrators, partners, and dev ops to create and manage innovative and dynamic appealing web applications.

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organized, detailed, and knowledgeable web development practitioner who fluently speaks the language of web development and technologies, adapts processes, overcomes challenges, and achieves strategic objectives. They will also be skilled at translating stakeholder requests and visions into tangible requirements and specifications, project plans, and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Strong familiarity with web Content Management Systems
  • Competency in Google Analytics and SEMRush platforms to read and report on activities
  • Audit content to refresh or remove outdated information and identify need for new content
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
  • Ensure the website complies with the appropriate laws and regulations
  • Image/graphics creation and copywriting skills
  • Create strategies to improve website traffic and identify ways to improve website user experience with strong attention to UX/UI detail
  • Ability to use Adobe Creative suite products for team collaboration and content optimization
  • Manage content data with strong understanding of SEO best practices
  • Coordinates with other marketing team members to ensure active promotions and campaigns are represented on the website
  • Maintain a promotion inventory grid to highlight open opportunities and expiration dates of current promotions
  • Monitors all links to timely address broken links included in database reporting: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, proprietary dashboards
  • Experience with management, testing, and implementation of web projects including upgrades, platform migrations
  • Familiarity with marketing automation programs and software (email mktg) for team collaboration
  • Periodic reporting of key performance indicators
  • Ad hoc analysis of traffic acquisition and user activity via the ability to A/B test strategies and tools
  • Manage and develop blogging strategy for our website
  • Work with designers, product marketing team, sales, business stakeholders and other industry experts
  • Adhere with the internal policies and procedures

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
  • 2 years of work experience as a website manager
  • Problem-solving, organizational and project management skills are critical
  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, MySQL, and JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing robust tracking systems to monitor and analyze digital metrics, focusing on data-driven decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with third party technical and development teams across timezones
  • Good work ethics, time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytics skills, including Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, conversion tracking, and Tag Manager.
  • Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate with peers and remote groups to produce desired results.
  • Ability to work independently with in-person as well as remote managers and peers.
