DS Technologies Inc is looking for Senior Python Developer role for one of our premier clients.

Job Title:Senior Python DeveloperLocation: McLean, VA or Richmond, VA (Hybrid Onsite - 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)Position Type: Contract (W2)Line of Business: Card - FraudIndustry: FinanceJob Category: IT / Software Development

Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust and efficient backend applications using Python.
  • Design, build, and maintain APIs to integrate with various network associations.
  • Utilize AWS Cloud services, particularly Lambda and Step Functions, to build scalable and resilient solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
  • Conduct live coding tests as part of the submission process.
  • Work independently, managing tasks and delivering results in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application development and deployment.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of the development process, including design specifications, coding standards, and API documentation.

Requirement Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of backend applications and APIs.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in developing backend applications using Python.
  • Proven expertise in designing, building, and maintaining APIs.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda and Step Functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
