Job Description:

As a Roofing Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our roofing projects by assisting with various tasks related to installation, repair, and maintenance. This hands-on position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. You will work closely with our experienced roofing crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the loading and unloading of roofing materials and equipment at job sites.
  • Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers as needed.
  • Perform basic roofing tasks such as carrying materials, removing debris, and cleaning work areas.
  • Assist with the installation of roofing components, including shingles, tiles, and flashing.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job.
  • Work collaboratively with the roofing crew to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any maintenance issues to supervisors.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in construction or roofing preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced roofing professionals.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to obtain training in workplace safety practices.
