Position: The ECIC is responsible for initiating and overseeing MECA’s EC referral and intake process. The ECIC is responsible for ensuring that a target number of monthly referrals are achieved based upon MMT goals and expectations. The ECIC will be assigned specific duties by EC Co-Director specific to assisting with quality assurance indicators required by DOH. These services will be conducted within a variety of environments to include provider location as well as in home and community settings.

Education: A minimum of a four-year Bachelor’s level degree in Family Consumer Science, Early Childhood, Early Education, Social Work or Case Management.

Essential Duties:

1. Process all intakes
2. Assign intakes as necessary to EC Lead Coordinator
3. Complete intakes
4. Assign evaluators
5. Complete CME’s
6. Complete all Initial IFSP’s
7. Assign ongoing staff and Team Leads (in conjunction with EC Co-Director)
8. Audit all files in the initial process for accuracy of data and file content
9. Review all evaluation reports and IFSP’s completed by Family Service Coordinators
10. Train new Family Service Coordinators and Developmental Specialists ongoing as assigned by EC Co-Director
11. Provide observation opportunities for interns
12. Participate in a screening per quarter and two outreach events per year will be mandatory
13. Cleanliness of work area must be maintained on a daily basis; surface areas of tables, instructional tools and other objects should be cleaned after each session
14. Provide services to all applicable counties within region.
15. Assist with maintenance of FIT client information in the MECA Database as outlined in MECA EC process
