Job Purpose:
A Maintenance Technician is in charge of performing ongoing maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include preventative and predictive maintenance on primary and associated equipment and tooling to ensure safe, reliable and consistent performance, in support of the business needs.
Key Accountabilities:
Safely follow the manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks under the direction of the supervisor group leader or experienced associates in the area.
- Responsible to maintain the Preventive Maintenance schedule for all critical equipment
- Perform necessary repairs or PM according to the plan
- Data and equipment analysis for predictive and reliability maintenance and repairs.
- Contact services and materials suppliers for necessary repairs or PM
- Coordinate with Planning and Production to accommodate the scheduled reliability maintenance plans and schedules.
- Support manufacturing team in identifying opportunities to reduce unplanned downtime, from both
- an equipment and operations view.
- Issue PREQ system and receive materials in ERP as needed
- Maintain Fixed assets list for critical equipment in ERP and PM work orders schedule
Required Education & Preferred Certifications
- 5+ years of experience in similar role
- CNC maintenance background required (Mori Seki, Doosan, other)
- Automation and PLC knowledge, troubleshooting and repair are required, with certification/s preferred
- Background in Reliability Maintenance or TPM systems and processes preferred
- Equipment and facility knowledge, troubleshooting and repair are required, with certification/s preferred
Required Knowledge / Skills
- Ability to read and interpret routine instructions
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to operate material moving equipment/overhead crane and/or obtain certification
- Basic computer skills
