Micro Paradox is a tissue culture and micropropagation laboratory that provides clean nursery stock to commercial nurseries in the United States and abroad. Plants produced by Micro Paradox are disease-free, uniform, and true-to-type. 


About our Roles


Micro Paradox has a variety of general labor positions available:


  • Laboratory technicians precisely cut and stick plants and work in aseptic or semi-aseptic lab areas (clean rooms)
  • Planting technicians stick plants in soil trays in a warehouse-style work area
  • Grafting technicians assist with our micrografting program in warehouse-style, greenhouse, and outdoor work areas
  • Greenhouse technicians sort, move, and pack plants in the greenhouse and outdoor work areas


Employee responsibilities are subject to change depending on business needs.


We accept applications year-round, even when positions are not available. When positions do become available, we review applications submitted within the past 3 months.


All positions are entry-level (some past work experience preferred, but not required) and involve periods of regular sitting and standing. While all positions are seasonal temporary, longer-term employment is possible. Employees become eligible for a partial employer-matching 401(k) and health plans after one year of employment with Micro Paradox.

Key Requirements


  • Ability to follow initial training and to perform routine work with minimal supervision
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Basic written/verbal English; verbal fluency in Spanish, English, or Punjabi
  • Ability to work with hands, stand, walk, sit, stoop, and bend for extended hours
  • Ability to work in hot and humid conditions when required
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
