You will be working with internal teams and external partners, to create clean UX designs and compelling UI visuals. Creating overall concepts for user experience within a business webpage or product. Interactions are intuitive and easy for customers and internal users.

This is an onsite position in Mission Viejo, CA. 20 hours per week in-house, based on current project workload. We expect to increase this over the next 3 months as more planned projects get underway.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deliver experiences optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces

  • Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colors and fonts

  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently

  • Professional written and interpersonal skills

  • Support product vision using wireframes, prototypes and mocks

  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions in collaboration with Product Managers

  • Consider existing applications and evaluating their UX effectiveness

  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES

  • Expertise in UI/UX design software like InVision, Sketch, Balsamiq is a must.

  • Strong CSS3 and HTML5 skills. JavaScript skills are a definite plus

  • A deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design

  • Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently

  • Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge with them, and learn from them

  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism

  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industrys latest trends and technologies

EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design
