IT DIRECTOR

Made By Gather is looking for a candidate to oversee and direct the global Information Technology for the company. We are looking for a leader who has had progressively grown their career and wants the opportunity to establish their identity as a leader for information technology. We need an individual looking to establish best practices, lead global strategies, develop best in industry data warehousing capabilities, master data integrity and policies all with a foundation of secure and reliable systems. Mady By Gather is a company that has experienced dramatic growth in recent years and will be doubling our business in the next 3 years in both domestic and international markets. This position will own the 3-year road map to enable an industry best insight data driven organization. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring technology supports and enhances business objectives.
• Manage, develop, recruit, train and motivate the IT department in North America and Asia with four direct reports (team of 7)
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively and ensuring financial efficiency.
• Manage and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Develop and manage data engineering standards, including establishing a data warehouse
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in the event of IT disruptions.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware components.
• Consistently analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operationhal requirements, and metrics maintenance – making recommendations to management accordingly
• Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard the organization's data. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, assess their potential impact on the organization, and make recommendations for adoption, continuously improving and refining technology roadmap and owning global IT startegy
• Oversee the IT helpdesk function, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues and providing excellent customer service.
• Manage all existing hardware and software programs, making updates as necessary to support the business and teams
• Manage all stages of all IT projects and development lifecycle

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7-10 years experience in Information Technology, Computer Science with experience in consumer goods a plus
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IT projects and infrastructure.
• Experience working within and managing Azure and Netsuite applications and programs, with proven success developing, maintaining and implementing software, technology and systems
• Strong experience with data management & engineering, EDI & API connectivity, SQL (complex stored procedures/triggers/functions) and SQL database management
• Experience handling data in EDI/XML/Flat File/Excel format, third party mapping tools, and full system development life cycle (development, test, and prod)
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on aligning IT activities with overall business objectives.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Previous success in implementing IT governance and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field a plus
