Essential Job Functions
- Be part of a customer oriented and profit minded service team
- Troubleshoot electric and mechanical machine (Servos drive, PLC controls, etc…)
- Perform on site repairs, preventative maintenance service and operator training
- Cooperate with other service technicians and subcontractors
- Help manage in-house rebuilds and repairs at our facility
- Process and manage expense reports, job reports and return receipts in a timely manner
Essential Job Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in electrical and mechanical machine-tool service
- Must be able to read and work with electrical schematics and assembly drawings
- Understanding of machine tool guide ways, slide and spindle motors
- Proficient knowledge of servo drive, PLC controls and general machine tool electronics
- Proficient computer skills and understanding of mobile device business applications
- Must be in good physical shape and able to work in non-climate controlled areas
- Must have good communication skills in working with customers and other employees
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving history
