Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Summary:
Participate as needed on projects for the Asheboro Quality Department. Lead a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project & present project summary to the Leadership team. Assist with Quality Engineering in areas of complaints, data analysis, nonconformances, and tool qualification. Additional projects may include:
• Standardizing processes and work instructions to ensure quality.
• Assembly scrap reduction, complaint reduction and investigations.

Knowledge | Experience | Skills:

High school diploma or GED. Yellow or Green belt Lean Six Sigma training preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Moderate computer experience in JMP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead project-specific continuous improvement meetings utilizing LSS tools.
• Assist in and gather data on production floor activities.
• Assist in the analytics of manufacturing data.
• Develop work instructions & standard work documents for machine operators.
• Identify areas for improvement for work cell operations.
• Report any unsafe situations to Supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Must be able to manage time efficiently, follow work instructions & work well in a team environment.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Identify problems and find ways to resolve them.
• Ability to use tools and/or operate equipment.
