Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for a passionate and Student Ministries Developer to join our Central team located in Centerville, MN. This person will develop the various resources and content that contribute to the mission of Student Ministries. A collaborative person skilled in creating organized plans for executing strategies, who is detailed and able to work independently on multiple projects will be successful in this role. POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the vision for Eagle Brook’s student ministry through developing strategies, events, and resources that carries out our mission of helping students become lifelong followers of Jesus. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure ministry goals are achieved. Equips staff and volunteers to succeed in their roles through development and ministry tools. Seeks to widen the reach of Student Ministry in partnership with parents, schools, and other Christian organizations. Reports to Student Ministries Director.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates tools and resources to equip staff and volunteers to be effective in their roles as they lead
  • Collaborates with Pastors of Student Ministries to plan elements of Wednesday night programing
  • Develops relevant strategies to increase ministry impact through identifying opportunities to:
    • Reach students for Christ and help them to grow in their faith
    • Contribute to social media reach and content
    • Partner with parents providing tools to lead their families spiritually
    • Train volunteers to succeed in their roles through development and ministry tools
  • Leads through the planning meetings and process for events and trips
  • Works closely with Student Ministry Coordinators to ensure the vision and execution of events are well-planned, communicated, and executed in a timely manner (centrally, cross-functionally, and campus)
  • Collaborates with the Student Ministries Director and the Middle School Teaching Pastor to ensure student ministry program goals & expectations remain clear, relevant, and effective
  • Works with Communications, media, and design team to get collateral created to support student ministry strategies
  • Consistently studies student culture and the generation we’re trying to reach
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 4+ years)
  • 2+ years of experience in student ministry leadership, development, and design
  • 2+ years of content development experience
  • Exceptional communication skills; interpersonal, written, and verbal
  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
  • Exhibits strong spiritual leadership
  • Strong public speaking skills preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop short-and long-range strategies to achieve departmental objectives, and identify opportunities for future growth
  • Ability to exercise sound, expert independent judgment within general policy guidelines

WORK SCHEDULE

Generally, Monday - Friday. Must be available Wednesday nights for student ministries.

Classification: Non-Exempt; Hourly // Status: Full-Time // Team: Student Ministries
