Our client in Southampton, PA, is looking for a talented and experienced Exhibit Designer to join their team on a full-time basis. As an Exhibit Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and interactive exhibits that engage and educate visitors. You will work closely with the client to understand their needs and objectives and develop designs that align with their vision. DESCRIPTION:
The Exhibit Designer is a professional responsible for designing various exhibits, kiosks, corporate interiors, and other such spaces based on the specifications provided by their clients. They work with clients to understand their requirements and objectives and then utilize their creativity and skillset to design visually appealing and engaging spaces. This role is critical in creating functional and visually appealing spaces while ensuring that they meet the client's requirements and budget constraints. The designer ensures that the design is aesthetically pleasing and fits within the client's budget constraints. They strive to provide the best possible solution that meets the needs of the client while staying within their budget.The Exhibit Designer collaborates with the Project Management and Production teams to ensure that the final product is of the highest quality, meets all specifications, and is delivered on time. They provide detailed design specifications and plans to the production team and oversee the construction process to ensure that the final product matches the initial design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create visually stunning exhibits
- Produce 3-dimensional computer-generated images
- Consult with clients on design requirements
- Collect appropriate background and product information
- Clarify design issues
- Help to negotiate and establish budgets and timelines
- Ensure that projects meet specifications, keep within budget, and run to schedule
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and specialists when proposing a concept
- Attend product update meetings
- Reply to questions from clients directly or through the client representative.
- Deliver final work to clients for review
- Maintain awareness of current creative trends and influences
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in Exhibit Design preferred, Industrial/Interior Design
- Creativity and imagination
- Excellent organization and project/time management skills
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Program proficiency in 3-D modeling, Photoshop & Illustrator, Microsoft Office
