We are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to provide exceptional care for our precious infant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for feeding, changing, and engaging the infant in developmentally appropriate activities. The primary focus is on creating a safe and loving environment for the child's growth and well-being.

The ideal candidate will be engaging, loving, reliable, on time, a strong communicator, calm in demeanor, and a non-smoker

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in infant care, with a strong emphasis on newborns.
  2. CPR and first aid certification for infants and children recommended but not required
  3. Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate activities.
  4. Excellent communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
  5. Ability to adapt to the changing needs and schedules of infants.
  6. Respect for the privacy and values of the family.
  7. Must be 21 years or older

Responsibilities:

  1. Feeding: Prepare and feed the infant bottles according to provided schedules and dietary guidelines.

  2. Diapering and Changing: Ensure the infant is kept clean and comfortable through regular diaper changes and hygiene care.

  3. Engagement and Stimulation: Develop and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the infant's physical, cognitive, and emotional development.

  4. Naptime Routine: Establish and maintain a consistent naptime routine, ensuring the infant gets adequate rest.

  5. Safety First: Maintain a safe and secure environment, baby-proofing areas as needed, and closely monitoring the infant's surroundings.

  6. Communication: Keep open and transparent communication with parents regarding the infant's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.

  7. Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies and follow safety protocols, including knowledge of basic first aid.

  8. Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the infant's care, such as washing bottles, sanitizing toys, and maintaining a clean play area.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 10am-2pm
  • Comfortable and well-equipped home environment.
