Job Summary:

Preferred Care at Home of Northern Westchester and Putnam is seeking experienced caregivers to join our team for immediate assignments. We offer full-time, part-time, nights, and weekends for  hourly positions in the Home Care industry, within the Franchise sector. As a caregiver, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while helping them maintain their independence.

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer an hourly rate of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. 

Responsibilities:

- Provide assistance with daily living activities
- Medication reminders 
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
- Communicate with clients' families
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable privacy laws and regulations.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care setting.
- Certification Preferred, but not necessary for all home care cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to cases in Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties
