Are you a motivated and talented Civil Engineer with a focus on structural design? Join our team as an Entry-Level Structural Engineer (EIT) specializing in precast concrete solutions. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative precast concrete components and structures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural Design and Analysis: Assist senior engineers in designing and analyzing precast concrete components and structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Utilize structural analysis software to perform simulations and analyses, ensuring structural integrity and efficiency.
  • Design Documentation and Quality Assurance: Prepare comprehensive structural calculations, drawings, and design documentation adhering to industry standards and regulations. Ensure the quality and integrity of structural designs and calculations through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to company standards and best practices. Track the completion of design documents and conduct self-assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Collaboration and Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CAD designers, estimators, and project managers, to develop innovative precast solutions. Provide technical support and assistance throughout the project lifecycle, participating in project meetings and site visits as required.
  • Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to precast concrete design, construction, and structural engineering. Pursue professional development opportunities to further enhance knowledge and expertise.
  • Communication and Problem Solving: Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure project success. Identify and resolve technical challenges and discrepancies in a proactive and timely manner.


Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Certification: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Experience: Strong educational background in structural engineering; experience in precast concrete design preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software.
    • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
